Increased Autism Rates?

According to a new study, autism rates are as high as 1:150. The CDC calls this new research an "urgent concern." These numbers are much higher than previously reported. However, only 14 states were used in the study (California, Texas, Florida were among those excluded). After reading the article, it seems like the study was not thorough enough to be conclusive.

Autism, cause stills remains unknown, is typically diagnosed after the age of 3 when the characteristics such as difficulty communicating and inability to socialize become more apparent.
